Background: Fibrinogen, CRP and resistin are three novel cardiovascular risk factors. The aim of this study was to examine the effects of an eight weeks' aerobic exercise program on concentrations of these factors in healthy and overweight middle-aged men. Methods: Thirty inactive middle-aged men whom their BMI was between 25 and 30 were randomly assigned into experimental and control groups (each group 15 participants). Participants of the experimental group accomplished eight weeks (three sessions per week) aerobic exercise with intensity of 50 to 70 percent of their maximum heart rate. Weight, body fat percent, fibrinogen, CRP and resistin level of participants were recorded before and after the trainings. Obtained data were analyzed using independent samples T test. Results: After trainings results showed a significant reduction of weight (P=0/000), BMI (P=0/000), body fat percent (P=0/002), fibrinogen (P=0/000) and CRP (P=0/000) and significant elevation of resistin (P=0/000) in the experimental group (P≤0.05).Conclusion: Overall, eight weeks regular aerobic training decreases atherosclerosis risk through reduction of weight, body fat, fibrinogen and CRP.

Objective: Osteocalcin a small peptide secreted by osteoblasts, has been recently described as a hormone involved in the regulation of energy metabolism. Also, experimental data suggest regulation of adipocytes by bone. The present study aims to Relationship between bone formation marker (BGLA- protein) with Adipokines and insulin resistance in overweight men after aerobic exercise. Method: Twenty two male volunteers with a mean age31.50±2.23years, body mass index(BMI) 28.67±0.96 kg.m2, were randomly selected to control(n=11) and aerobic training(n=11) groups. Subjects in the aerobic training group participated in the 8-week exercise training program, three sessions per week (60 minutes at 70 to 85 percent of heart rate reserve(HRR). Weight, body fat % and BMI were analyzed, fasting blood samples were collected before and after the 8-week exercise program to determine the serum Osteocalcin, leptin, adiponectin, insulin and HOMA-IR. Result: T-test showed that Body fat, BMI, weight, insulin, glucose, HOMA-IR and leptin were significantly reduced following the aerobic exercise(P

This study is mainly concerned with designing and implementing an Advanced Physical Fitness Assessment software (APFA) for the Iranian society. This applied study was intended to improvement, complement and facilitate the measurement and evaluation methods of motor and health physical fitness criteria. The software was designed using various tests and their calculation formulas as well as national and international norms, percentage rank, and T and Z scores. Correlational analysis of the assessment data from 100 individuals using APFA and the results obtained from Excel and manual methods with an intraclass correlation (ICC=1, P

The Tuck Jump Assessment (TJA) has been proposed to identify neuromuscular deficits and plyometric technique flaws associated with anterior cruciate ligament injury. This study aimed to investigate the effect of core stabilization training program on Tuck jump kinematics in male youth soccer players with core dysfunction. A total of 30 elite youth soccer players were included in this study which was screened by TJA to determine core dysfunction. During TJA, players who their thighs were not parallel (peak of jump), had pause between jumps and did not land in the same footprint, considered as participants with core dysfunction. The participants were divided randomly into two groups including core training group (n=15) and control (n=15) that both of them participated in pre-test and post-test (age 16.08±0.81 year, weight 64.16±8.61 kg , height 1.74±0.06 m, body mass index 20.89±1.78 kg/m2, competitive history 4.28±1.10 year). Core stability training group completed 12 week training program, 3 sessions each week totally 36 sessions, while control group did only their soccer traditional training. The effectiveness of core stability training intervention was assessed by performing core stability tests with four positions. Data were analyzed using a mixed design (2×2) repeated measures ANOVA and Bonferroni test. The aim of study was evaluating core stably. Study results showed that core stability training significantly reduced the mean of Tuck jump flaws. Consequently, 12 weeks core stability training provides noticeable improvement for kinematic of tuck jump in youth soccer players with core dysfunction.

The aim of this study was the effect of participation in physical activities with quality of life in female students. The statistical population included all female students. The statistical population included all female students of Shiraz University. The research sample was determined randomly through Morgan table. The research instrument was two questionnaires of Sharklغ eternal activity with 4 questions and quality of life with 24 questions on a five-value scale and including four lives: physical health, mental life, social communication life, environmental life and budget. Formal and artificial narrative questions were approved by experts. Confirmatory factor analysis was used to evaluate the validity of the structure. The software used was Lisrel and SPSS. The results showed that physical activity affected on mental health, physical health, environmental domain and social communication. Awareness of students' physical activity and recognizing the factors affecting it can be helpful in educational and executive planning to encourage their physical activity and timely intervention to improve it.

The advance in reaction time research by employing electromyography technique that has made it possible to divide the reaction time (RT) into the motor (MT) and premotor (PMT) have resulted in new findings. The present research we conducted to examine the effect of response complexity and limb weight change on electromyography records of simple and discriminative RT of young and elderly men. The participants included 14 young and 14 older adults. They performed arm flexion with or without added weight to a target at 60 cm distance away upon hearing simple or discriminative signals. The results of ANOVA-repeated measures indicated that there was a significant main effect for the three factors including the number of stimuli (p=0/001), the limb weight (p=0/001) and response complexity (p=0/001) on PMT. It was concluded that the variables that have affected RT have also effect on the PMT but may not affect MT. These delay in activating the involved muscles to prevent fall is the result of elderly people increased age and overweight.
